Despite the weather being rather damp there were record numbers at the Holy Cross Festival of Christmas Trees last weekend with over 6,700 people visiting the Church in Uckfield. Our tree shone bright along with the other 111 trees.

Me and my family got festive for Elf Day in support of our High Chief Ranger's Annual Charity Appeal in aid of Alzheimer's Society. My children have offered to donate their pocket money to this wonderful cause.

A reminder to all our Members that as part of our Foresters Care service, we’ve partnered with RedArc, whose registered nurses provide tailored help to our members by telephone. What’s more, you’ll only speak to the same nurse throughout, providing important continuity. RedArc's experienced nurses are on hand to answer questions, listen and offer guidance when it is most needed. They can provide long-term practical advice and emotional support with any long-term physical or mental health condition, serious illness, chronic health conditions, disability, trauma or bereavement.

What a fantastic afternoon with fantastic people. Already looking forward to the next one! Get practising - we could all do with it! 😆. Funds raised on the raffle went towards Uckfield Foodbank, for whom we've managed to raise £156 throughout the year...amazing effort everyone!

Society Spooktacular Quiz Night

Get ready for a frightfully fun evening — all for a fantastic cause!
Foresters is hosting a Halloween-themed virtual quiz night in support of our Annual Charity Appeal for Alzheimer’s Society — and you’re invited!

Expect spooky questions, Halloween costumes (optional), and plenty of laughs! Friends and family are welcome to join too!

Date: Friday 24th October 2025
Time: 7:00 PM
Where: Microsoft Teams
Entry: Donation-based for our charity appeal. £3 per person or £15 for a team (maximum 6 people).

Come along, test your trivia skills, and support a great cause. Costumes encouraged, prizes to be won, and fun guaranteed!
