Children of Peace was established to offer a fresh, non-partisan approach to conflict resolution in the Middle East.

Children of Peace is a non-partisan, multi-faith charity dedicated to building friendship, trust and reconciliation between Israeli and Palestinian children, aged 4-17, and their communities. Children of Peace is a UK based charity that works with both Israeli and Palestinian children to build positive relationships for a future generation, whose communities might live and work in peace, side-by-s

ide. Children Are The Forgotten Victims

The forgotten victims of the Middle East conflict are the children. Many live in a perpetual war zone, frightened and stressed by the uncertain outcome of arbitrary violence. Children from both communities have lost loved ones, experience extreme anxiety, suffer from mental and physical health problems and have worryingly high levels of childhood disease and illness. For us, protecting the children is the real and best hope for the future. It’s the children who can make the first steps on any roadmap to peace. Caught up in the endless cycle of violence are the ordinary people from both communities who yearn for dignity, justice, prosperity and a peaceful existence. We believe that change for the better will come and it will come from the grassroots – through shared experiences, projects and programmes which are designed to overcome suspicion, mistrust and fear. MARCH 2026 UPDATE

HOPE LIVES ON IN GAZA

The first months of 2026 have witnessed a world in turmoil. In Gaza children and their communities continue to live with unsanitary conditions, a lack of fresh water and food, medical supplies and services, surrounded by devastation.

There are positive developments however. We have reports from both Israel and Gaza. Our Gaza contact talks about Ramadan and how it's celebrated in the Strip, and a new initiative, the Rafah Pioneers School. Our Israeli correspondent gives her perspective on President Trump's Board of Peace.

Here is an update from Sindyanna of Galilee Fair Trade, an affiliate group.

Sindyanna of Galilee Fair Trade is a women-led fair trade association that operates amongst the Arab population of northern Israel. We produce and market local fair trade products. The Sindyanna Visitor Center and the basketry workshop, provides a meeting point for Arab and Jewish women.

Freddie Krivine Initiative is unique in bringing tennis to Israel’s Arab sector. They have ten years experience in creating coexistence and equal opportunity for Jewish and Arab children through tennis.

The Foundation supports and create tennis schools in Arab towns and villages, where previously there were none and it creates inter-school tennis programmes where children of different cultural backgrounds meet, nearly always for the first time.
