Thinking about shared ownership but want to understand how it works? ⬇️

With shared ownership, you purchase a share of a new build or resale home, and pay rent on the share you don't own. The scheme provides a fantastic opportunity to get onto the property ladder, and an alternative to renting 🏡

You are eligible to buy a shared ownership home if:

• your household income is less than £80,000
• you cannot afford to buy a home in the traditional way
• you’re a first-time buyer or, you previously owned a home but can’t afford to buy one now
• for some developments and resale homes you will need to have a local connection to the area

If you want to purchase further shares in your home in the future, the process is called staircasing and our team are here to help guide you through all the steps 💬
