WOW… what a day! ❤️
The 6th Ride to the Tide – The Ben Garland Memorial Run has been and gone, and we honestly couldn’t be more proud of what we achieved together.
With over 200 bikes, beautiful weather and an incredible atmosphere from start to finish, this was a day we will never forget.
But this year was about more than just one incredible day. Looking back over the six years of Ride to the Tide, we are absolutely blown away to announce that, together, we have now raised a grand total of £13,075 for the RNLI. 💙👏
From the entire Ride to the Tide team, we would like to say a massive THANK YOU to every single person who has played a part in making that possible.

Thank you for the hours of hard work, dedication and concentration you put in to make sure everyone arrived safely into Poole Quay.
You worked tirelessly throughout the day, and your contribution is absolutely invaluable to this ride. We simply couldn’t do it without you. 👏❤️
🥓☕ TROWBRIDGE RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB
A huge thank you once again to Trowbridge Rugby Football Club for hosting us and making us feel so welcome.
Thank you to all the staff and volunteers who helped organise everything on site and kept everyone supplied with hot drinks, bacon rolls and sausage rolls.
Your continued support means so much to us, and we are incredibly grateful. ❤️
🇬🇧 TO EVERYONE WHO LINED THE ROUTE…
This was something really special.
Seeing people standing outside their homes, waving flags, cheering, smiling and applauding as more than 200 bikes passed by was an absolutely beautiful sight.
You may only have been standing there for a few minutes, but please know that your support meant a huge amount to everyone riding — and especially to those of us riding in Ben’s memory.
Thank you for making the journey into Poole so incredibly special. ❤️

Having someone there who can step in when things go wrong gives everyone that extra reassurance. Thank you for giving up your time and being there for us. ❤️
🚤 RNLI POOLE
Last, but certainly not least, a very special thank you to RNLI Poole for welcoming us onto the quayside and for arranging such a special award for Mark Garland and the Ride to the Tide team.
To receive recognition from the RNLI for the fundraising we have carried out over the years was an incredibly proud and emotional moment.
And when you stand back and look at what everyone has achieved together, it really is quite incredible:
