๐ซ Littering / Vandalism at the Playing Fields โ Please Read ๐ซ
Weโre really disappointed to have to share this.
The attached photos were taken this morning following the Bank Holiday weekend, showing litter scattered just outside the pedestrian entrance to the Playing Fields โ despite a litter bin being only a few steps away.
This is now the second weekend in a row that this has happened in and around the childrenโs play area. On both occasions, it appears the litter bin itself may have been tipped up and its contents emptied, rather than rubbish simply being dropped nearby.
This space is used by families and young children, and itโs simply not acceptable for it to be left like this. ๐ง๐ฟ
We have reported the issue to Pattishall Parish Council, who are responsible for the play equipment and litter bins in this area, and who work alongside West Northamptonshire Council to maintain the surrounding public verge.
While we cannot say for certain who is responsible, there is a concern that this may involve younger individuals using the area unsupervised. We would kindly ask all parents and guardians in the parish to speak with their children about respecting our shared spaces and behaving responsibly. ๐
This is not the type of post we want to be making. We would far rather be sharing positive news about events, improvements, and the continued development of the Parish Hall and Playing Fields. ๐
Please help us keep this space clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone. ๐งน
Thank you for your support.
