Now a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, Thatcham Memorial Foundation is a charity that has existed in one guise or another since 1947; managed by a team of Trustees. The Foundation serves the community of Thatcham and its surrounding parishes as outlined in its constitution. The Foundation is custodian of a 7.5 acre site in the heart of the town, principally operating Thatcham Memorial Hall -

a community building with multiple facilities, and the Memorial Playing Fields - mainly used for private recreation with organised events bringing extra income to support grounds maintenance.
