1st Thatcham Scout group are up and running at the Christmas lights switch on. We have a makeshift setup this year but we’re proud of it. We have popcorn, candy floss and hot chocolate. Come say hello if you’re here.
2nd Thatcham are also here with marshmallow tossing. Together we will keep you warm.

It's been incredible to see our community come together. We're thrilled that all our hard work has resulted in some fantastic extra space for our Scouts & Guides to set up their next adventure! Well done, everyone!

*WARMING UP FOR CHRISTMAS*

Join us on Friday 1st December as we start the Festive season in style! Charity stalls, local food and drink stalls, face painting and sweet treats will line the Broadway whilst shops stay open for late night shopping as guaranteed snow falls all around.

On the stage will be music from West Berkshire Rock Choir, Whitelands Park Primary School, Dance with Sonia Brown, KATS - Kennet Amateur Theatrical Society, and Jamie Read Musical Theatre.

The lights will be switched on at 7pm by our special charity partners, as well as Mayor Mark Lillycrop.

And don’t forget to give Santa and Mrs Clause a visit!
