🍫🎉 To celebrate the end of a fantastic Autumn Term, 1st Bucklebury Guides got busy in the kitchen making Oreo truffles—one of their tastiest creations yet! 😋🍪

Cooking is one of the unit’s favourite activities, and these sweet treats were a huge hit! 💕 From crushing cookies to rolling truffles, the Guides had so much fun whipping up something delicious to share. 🎂👩‍🍳

This summer, one of our leaders went on the Girlguiding South West England trip to Malaysia. Highlights included exploring the vibrant streets of Kuala Lumpur, meeting Malaysian Guides, tackling a three-day jungle trek, volunteering at a turtle conservation project, and the magical moment of releasing baby sea turtles back into the ocean 🐢🌴.

☀️✨ GLOW 2024 – What a Day! ✨☀️
In June, Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers, and Leaders from West Berkshire came together for an unforgettable day at GLOW! 🌟 From climbing and go-karting to cooking, circus skills, meeting the Army and Navy, and dancing it out at the silent disco—there was something for everyone! 🎨🚴‍♀️🎪🎶

We were also thrilled to meet some of the Region Ambassadors, including Holly, Debbie and Brogan, who inspired us with their amazing stories. 💬💖 A day full of sunshine, adventure, and friendship we’ll never forget! 🌈

Did you know that being a Young Leader in Girlguiding is so much more than just helping out? It’s an incredible opportunity to make a difference, grow your skills, and inspire the next generation! 🌟💪

Young Leaders are members aged 14-18 who support their local units, acting as role models for younger girls while having loads of fun and gaining valuable experience. 💙

🔹 What do they do?
From planning creative activities 🎨✨ to leading games 🎉 and helping at camps 🏕️, Young Leaders play a huge role in making guiding magical for younger members.
