Our larder is supplied with surplus grocery items through our charity Sofea and Fayre Share network to help reduce food waste whilst saving communities money on their weekly shopping.

Most items available through the Community Larder are either in date, short dated, or long dated. Occasionally, we may receive products with approved date extensions through our food redistribution partners.

All food is distributed in line with food safety guidance. Further information on Best Before dates, here is a summary of the best practice guidance we follow set by our supplier.
