After the successful event last weekend, many people have been in touch who couldn't make the cinema screening of 'Railway Town', asking where else they can see it. This weekend marked the 40th anniversary of the momentus closure of Swindon Works. Community groups organised a commemorative event at Steam Museum, with exhibitions, screenings and interesting talks. This short video captures the flavour of some of these, - primarily the Saturday, and of course includes the ho**er!

Called by some 'The film event of the year for Swindon' - The only feature length film made about Swindon and its story is showing on the big screen at Great Western Hall in Steam museum at 7pm on Friday 27th March. It sold out and gained a standing ovation from the audience when last shown on the big screen at the Wyvern.
