Celebration of Culture, Music and Unity 🫶

Join us for UkraineFest 2026 — the largest celebration of Ukraine’s Independence Day in Wiltshire!

Following the incredible success of last year’s festival, which welcomed more than 4,000 visitors, this year’s event promises to be even bigger, bringing together Ukrainian traditions, contemporary culture, music, creativity, and people of all nationalities and generations.

🎶 Throughout the day, enjoy live performances by Ukrainian artists and groups from across the UK, creating an atmosphere of music, dance, celebration, and unity.

🍲 Visitors can enjoy:
• Authentic Ukrainian food
• An art exhibition
• A cultural market featuring folk artists, craftspeople, and painters

🤝 We are proud to welcome local charities, alongside Swindon Borough Council and the Warm Welcome Team, whose continued support of the Ukrainian community helps make this festival possible.

🎨 Our workshop area will offer:
• Open-air painting
• Clay modelling
• Tote bag painting
• Macramé workshops
• A music zone where visitors can learn to play a variety of instruments

🎈 For children, there will be:
• A bubble show
• Arts and crafts activities
• Bouncy castles
• Sweet treats and plenty of fun

📸 The festival will also feature:
• A military history exhibition
• Photography displays
• The documentary photography project “A Home with an Open Heart”, sharing the stories of Ukrainian and British families whose lives became intertwined following the start of the full-scale war in Ukraine

🌍 This year, we are launching our very first Freedom and Unity Parade.

We invite representatives of all communities to bring their national flags and join us in celebrating freedom, solidarity, and friendship on Ukraine’s Independence Day.

💙💛 The Swindon Welcomes Ukraine team, our volunteers, and event organiser Event Manager ❤️ Psychologist warmly invite everyone to join us on 22 August for a vibrant celebration of culture, freedom, and unity.
