SAD Wargamers

SAD Wargamers are based at Moredon Community Centre, Swindon and we meet on Wednesday nights from 7PM We meet on Wednesday nights between 7:00PM and 11:00PM.

GCN approved club. There are many types of games played, some more regularly than others. However our members are a varied lot and are willing to try anything! Games played include:

and much more. Don't worry about having an unpainted army or crew, we don't mind. If you don't have an army but want to give a game a go let us know, chances are someone has a spare army you can use! We supply your gaming boards, terrain, dice and tape measures. This page allows you to enquire about SAD wargamers, post some Q and A's, advertise models you or a friend are selling - note this site take no responsibility for any transactions, advertise campaigns and tournaments in and around the local area, plan campaigns, show of your painting and gaming photos and recommend wargames products or services to other members, as well as simply enjoy conversing with fellow wargamers. Company advertising on this page must have the express permission of the page Admin team. We encourage all of our members to purchase their hobby supplies, books and models through reputable sources. This week recap.
For fantasy we saw the last game for our Kings of War campaign came to a might clash and saw the forces of the Abyss calm Victory.

In Sci-fi we has our infinity players in have game where they hide jacked cars and races around the board.

And in historical gaming we had games of 2mm Ancients, 10mm nepoleonics, 28mm saga and finally 28mm bolt action.

With Colours at Newbury race course on this Saturday hope everyone who when got some new and exciting miniature.

Weekly recap bit of a mixture of games this week and scale from 2mm ancients and 10mm Bot War to 28mm scale miniature of Konflik 47 and Bolt Action.

We continued the Kings of War campaign with 2 games
And we had a Warhammer 40k Kill Team game sorry no photos of that game. I was to busy losing 😅

We're back from our holidays. So now we can get back to the weekly recap

This week saw fantasy games of Kings of War and Warhammer The Old World. In Sci-fi two Infinity games. Lastly we had two historical games a 2mm Ancients game and 28mm American war of independence.

Wednesday night saw games of Bot War, Kings of War, bolt action and Trench Crusade.

Its the first week of August so it's that time to look back at what games have been played at the club over July.

We had a wide range of games from Warhammer The Old World to Bolt Action to Bot Wars and Infinity.

We also saw different scales being used from 2mm Ancients to 6mm Napoleonics, 15mm World War Two and 28mm World War Two, to 32mm Trench Crusade and Infinity.

If you are a member of our Facebook or Discord community and haven't been to the club yet, your first week is free and £6 per week after that or become a full member which is £10 a month with a one off £5 administration fee. We'd love to see some new faces.

This week saw a very hot Wednesday night but we still had a great show of games being played
With 3 games of Flames of War two of them early war and one late war.
Trench Crusade saw 4 factions being used to claim no man's land
Lastly The Old World had the forces of Chaos face off against the Dark Elves

Look, its the weekly recap!

We had a wide range on game systems going on this week which great to see.

In Sci-fi, we had two games of Infinity, a game of Bot War, and Konflik 47

In fantasy, there was two games of Warhammer The Old World

Lastly we had the monthly RPG group

The monthly Bot Wars Campaign game Saw the Titans come out with destructive force.

Starship, konflik 47, ancients in 2mm and nepoleonics in 6mm also were played this week

The club is at Devizes attack wargaming show this weekend so come say Hi 👋

Weekly recap
We had a great mixture of games this week.
We saw action in the cityscape of the far future of Infinity
The open voids of space in a game of Starship
The last game of the odyssey with the two club members who can't make this week taken on the hydra
We saw some historical battlefields being frought over with the ottoman empire taken on the Austrian using black powder rules
And two different world war two rules set being used the first one was Flames of War, in the early war with the battle of France, one board had the French taken on the Germans, and the other the British against the Germans
The other world war two game using bolt action rules in the late war with British airborne and commandos fighting Germans.

Weekly recap

Mortal Gods campaign continues this week where a Hydra tried to stop warbands from getting the Golden Atlas.

A game of Warhammer The Old World Orks and Goblins vs Tomb Kings.

Lastly, a Marvel Crisis Protocol game was played. This is a returning favourite that has been played at the club for awhile.

Thanks to the members who have been painted and refurbished some of the clubs terrain.
