Join us this Saturday, September 26th, from 11am-4pm for our final Cadw 'Open Doors' guided tours! Last Saturday we enjoyed a slide talk by trustee John Williams, who looked back on the conservation work completed since 2022. A photographic record of the projects undertaken gave a detailed insight into what has been involved. Diolch John! As on previous Saturdays we also enjoyed introducing new visitors to the history of Llangiwg through the centuries - many thanks to those who called in to support our talk and tours.

We were delighted to see the Mayor of Pontardawe, Cllr. Jamie Nemeth, at Llangiwg last Saturday, when he attended one of our September 'Open Doors' guided tours and saw the work that has been done to conserve the building in recent years. We're looking forward to sharing more details about the conservation work this Saturday, September 19th, with a free illustrated talk by our trustee John Williams, starting at 11.30am, followed by refreshments and guided tours. All welcome!

If you've ever wondered how a former church continues its life as a community venue, trustee John Williams will be shedding light on this topic in a free illustrated talk next Saturday, September 19th, when he'll be exploring the building's past and future conservation, with a focus on the most recent conservation project completed earlier this year. The talk starts at 11.30am. Please join us for light refreshments and a guided tour afterwards. All very welcome.
