⛰️ WHAT A DAY! 🌧️💨

Our team took on Pen y Fan in some seriously challenging weather conditions! With heavy rain and extreme winds, it certainly wasn’t an easy climb, but everyone dug deep and rose to the challenge! 💪👏

A massive well done to everyone involved for their determination, teamwork and fantastic effort in supporting such a worthwhile cause. ❤️

We’d also like to say a huge thank you to Cariad Care Services Ltd for organising this fantastic fundraising event to raise money for two local charities. 🙌

Neath Port Talbot Council is inviting residents to have their say on living in the county borough.

The council has launched Let’s Talk: Living in Neath Port Talbot, a survey for residents that asks for their views of council services, what the council’s priorities should be, how they interact with the council and their experience of living in their local area. Participating in the survey will take around 10 minutes and your feedback will help us gauge how well our services are meeting needs and expectations and will be considered in future service planning and delivery

The survey is open until Tuesday 27 October 2026. Anyone aged 16 or over and living in Neath Port Talbot can take part.

The quickest way to participate in the survey is online at www.npt.gov.uk/consultations

Printed questionnaires will also be available at libraries in the county borough, Neath Civic Centres or Port Talbot Civic Centre. Any residents unable to complete the survey online or collect a paper copy can email: [email protected]

**Toileting Workshop for Parent Carers – Cancelled**

Unfortunately, next week’s Toileting Workshop for Parent Carers has been cancelled.

We apologise for any inconvenience and hope to rearrange the workshop soon. We will share the new date and details as soon as they are confirmed.

NPT Carers Service will be hosting a Toileting Workshop with Jayne Messer from the Early Years Developmental Team.

Jayne will be talking about toileting issues that parent carers may experience, followed by a Q&A session where you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss any concerns.
