Could You Be a Governor at William Barnes Primary School?
Ever fancied making a real difference to children without having to teach fractions, supervise the playground or deal with a classroom full of children after lunch?
We're looking for friendly, enthusiastic people to join our Governing Board and help shape the future of William Barnes Primary School. As a governor, you'll support and challenge school leaders, help make important decisions and ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.
No experience or special qualifications needed – just curiosity, common sense, a willingness to ask questions and a genuine interest in making William Barnes the best it can be.
It's a chance to learn new skills, meet lovely people, give something back to your community and make a real difference to children's lives.
The rewards are enormous. The pay is terrible (it's voluntary). The tea and biscuits are negotiable!
