Milton Abbas Parish Council – Councillor Resignation

Milton Abbas Parish Council confirm that Cllr Dawn Wyatt has stepped down from her role as a Parish Councillor.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Dawn for her commitment and service to the village during her time on the Council. Her thoughtful contributions to meetings, willingness to listen, and steady support have been greatly valued by fellow councillors.

Dawn has also shown a quiet generosity and kindness within the community. Her many considerate, often unsung acts have not gone unnoticed and have made a positive difference to village life.

On behalf of the Parish Council and the wider community, we thank Dawn for all she has given to Milton Abbas Parish Council and wish her all the very best for the future.

🚨 Winter Weather Reminder – Please Help Our Dorset Gritters! ❄️

As the colder weather sets in, Dorset Highways’ gritting teams are now on standby to keep our roads safe. They’ll be out whenever conditions require, but they can only do their job if they can get through.

👉 Please make sure cars are parked responsibly and leave enough width for the gritters to pass.
If the vehicles can’t get through, the road cannot be gritted, which puts everyone at greater risk in icy conditions.

A little care with parking makes a big difference to the whole community.
Thank you for helping keep Dorset moving safely this winter! 🚜✨
