🎄🔧 Don't let those festive favourites end up in the loft for another year! 🔧🎄

Our next Studley Repair Cafe is just around the corner, so now's the perfect time to have a rummage through the cupboards and dig out anything that could do with a little repair love.

Got Christmas lights that have stopped twinkling? Decorations with a broken bit? Or perhaps something else around the house that's not quite working as it should?

Bring it along and let our wonderful volunteers see what they can do! A little TLC could mean your favourite festive decorations are ready to make another appearance this Christmas. ✨

And remember, you don't need to bring something broken to join us. Pop in for a cuppa, a slice of cake and a chat. Everyone is welcome! 💛

📅 Saturday 14th November
🕙 10am - 2pm
📍 Studley Parish Centre, Old Vicarage Gardens (Needle Close), Studley, B80 7SG

We're run entirely by volunteers and rely on donations to keep things going, so every contribution is gratefully received.

We look forward to seeing you there!

🎄🔧 Tinsel, Twinkly Lights and a Little TLC! 🔧🎄

Well, it looks like summer has finally packed its bags, the evenings are getting darker, and somehow Christmas is already peeking around the corner! 😱🎅

Before you dig out the decorations and discover that last year's festive favourites aren't looking quite so merry, why not bring them along to our next Repair Cafe?

✨ A set of fairy lights that won't light up?
🎅 A well-loved decoration that's seen better days?
🎄 A festive treasure that needs a little TLC before taking pride of place?

Our lovely volunteers will do their best to help give your repairable Christmas decorations a new lease of life, saving you money and keeping more things out of the bin. ♻️

Of course, you don't need to wait for Christmas to bring something along! Whether it's a household item, a treasured possession or something that's simply stopped doing what it should, we'd love to see you.

Come along for a repair, a cuppa, a slice of cake and a friendly chat. We're all about fixing things, sharing skills and bringing our community together. 💛

🍂🔧 A Cosy Saturday at Studley Repair Cafe! 🔧🍂

Our latest session was a little quieter than usual, as a few of our lovely volunteers were struck down with colds. It seems that time of year has arrived! 🤧 We hope they're all feeling better soon.

But quieter doesn't mean any less wonderful! We still had a lovely day filled with friendly faces, good conversations and that welcoming community spirit that makes our Repair Cafe so special. 💛

It's always lovely to see visitors chatting away, sharing a cuppa and a slice of cake, and enjoying a bit of company while our volunteers get to work. After all, we're about more than just fixing things. We're here to bring people together, share skills and give our belongings a second chance too. ♻️

A big thank you to everyone who came along on Saturday and helped make it such a lovely session, and an extra special thank you to our volunteers who were there giving their time and skills as always.

Here are a few snapshots from the day! 📸

We look forward to seeing you all again next time. Until then, keep those repairable treasures safe and remember...

🔧 A Look Back At Our September Repair Café 🔧

Another Saturday, another room full of broken things, busy repair tables, cups of tea and plenty of friendly faces! ☕😊

Our latest session was a lovely one, with a great mix of items coming through the doors looking for a little TLC.

Amongst the repairs were lamps, a vacuum cleaner, a power drill and a sewing machine, alongside plenty of other things that kept our wonderful volunteers busy throughout the day.

But as always, it's not just the repairs that make our sessions special. The conversations, the laughter, the cups of tea and the willingness of people to help one another all add to the wonderful atmosphere that we have created together. 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who came along on Saturday, whether you brought something for us to repair, stopped by for a chat, enjoyed a cuppa and a piece of cake, or simply came to see what we're all about.

And of course, a big thank you to our fantastic volunteers for giving up their Saturday and doing what they do best!

We'll see you at the next one! 🔧☕🍰

🏆 We Have Some Rather Wonderful News! 🏆

A few weeks ago, the people of Studley were invited to nominate someone who had made a difference and served their local community over the past year.

We were absolutely thrilled to discover that Studley Repair Café had been nominated.

But then something rather amazing happened...

We won! 🥳

On 5th September, we were delighted to be presented with a shield for Community Service at Studley Village Hall during the Studley In Bloom Flower & Produce Show.

We honestly couldn't be prouder of our wonderful team of volunteers. Every month they give up their time, share their skills and knowledge, and come together to help people in our community. We quite simply couldn't do what we do without them. 💛

Being part of the Studley community has been a real privilege. Whether it's fixing a broken item, offering a bit of advice, sharing a cuppa and a chat, or simply lending a friendly ear, we're so pleased that the Repair Café has become a place where people can come through the doors and feel welcome.

A huge thank you to everyone who voted for us and helped us receive this wonderful accolade. And of course, thank you to everyone who supports us month after month by visiting, donating, spreading the word and cheering us on.

This award belongs to our volunteers, our visitors and the whole community that has supported us since we opened our doors.

We are incredibly honoured to have received it, and we will continue to show our appreciation by doing what we love:

Serving our community, one repair, one cuppa and one conversation at a time. 💛🔧☕🍰

Thank you, Studley. This one means a lot! 🏆😃

Our next session will be:
📅 Saturday 10th October
🕙 10am to 2pm
📍 Studley Parish Centre, Old Vicarage Gardens (Needle Close), Studley, B80 7SG

🔧 Tools down, that's us finished for another month!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along today, whether you brought us something to repair, stopped for tea and cake, had a chat, or dropped something into our donation pot.

And, as always, thank you to our brilliant volunteers for giving up their Saturday and sharing their time and skills. ❤️

We'll be back on Saturday 10th October, from 10 AM to 2 PM at Studley Parish Centre.

Until then, try not to break anything.

Or do. We suppose it keeps us busy. 😄
