We’re a volunteer-run community event offering free repairs on household items, including small electricals, clothing, wooden furniture, and more.

We also sharpen gardening tools. Next event: Saturday 11th July 2026, 10 AM – 2 PM.

🌿🔧 Another Wonderful Day at Studley Repair Café 🔧🌿

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday for another busy and thoroughly enjoyable Repair Café session.

Despite the rather soggy weather outside, there was plenty happening indoors as our volunteers rolled up their sleeves and got to work on another fascinating mix of repairs. ☕🍰

With summer trying its best to make an appearance, we saw lots of garden-related items brought through our doors, including hedge trimmers, shears and even a few garden ornaments in need of some TLC. There was also a steady stream of textile repairs, from shorts and trousers to pillowcases and other well-loved household favourites. 🧵

And because no two Repair Cafes are ever quite the same, we even had a magic wand make an appearance! ✨

One of the things we love most is the sheer variety of items that arrive each month. From practical everyday repairs to the unusual and unexpected, every item has a story and every repair is a chance to keep something useful, treasured or simply fun in service for a little longer. ♻️

A special thank you goes to our amazing volunteer repairers, hosts and cake makers who give up their time each month to make the Repair Café possible. We are also incredibly grateful for the donations we receive from visitors, which help our community-run Repair Café continue to grow and help even more people.

Thank you to everyone who brought items along, stayed for a chat, enjoyed a slice of cake, and helped create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the day. 💛

We are already looking forward to seeing you all again next month!

A big thank you to everyone who came along to Studley Repair Café today, whether you brought something to fix, stopped by for a chat, or helped keep the tea flowing.

And of course, huge thanks to our volunteers for giving up their time, skill, patience, and good humour. You keep the whole thing running.

We'll be back on Saturday 11th July 2026 for more fixing, more tea, and probably a few more mystery faults.

🔌☀️ Sun's Out, Tools Out... and the Electronics Are Coming Out to Play! ☀️🔌

One of our favourite things about Repair Cafe is that we never quite know what will come through the door each month.

Sure, there are the trusty regulars. The kettles that have stopped boiling. The toasters that have decided one side is quite enough. The vacuum cleaners that have lost their enthusiasm for cleaning. 😄

But then there are the surprises...

A vintage radio with decades of history behind it. A slide projector packed with family memories. A games console needing a second chance. A laptop that has given up just when it was needed most.

Every session brings a fascinating mix of old and new, practical and sentimental, simple and surprisingly complicated. And that is exactly what makes it so much fun for our volunteer repairers. 🛠️

If you have an electrical item that is misbehaving, making strange noises, refusing to switch on, or simply not working as it should, why not bring it along to our June session?

You never know - it might just be the next interesting challenge waiting on the repair bench.

☀️🛠️ Sun's Out, Tools Out! 🛠️☀️

Summer is on its way, the evenings are getting longer, and it is officially time to dust off those well-loved items that have been hiding away over winter 🌿

Whether it is a fan that refuses to spin, garden tools that have seen better days, your favourite summer shorts in need of a patch , or a household gadget quietly giving up the will to function... bring it along to Studley Repair Café and let our volunteers take a look.

Our June session is all about getting things ready for the sunny season ahead, with plenty of fixing, tinkering and tea-drinking along the way ☕🍰

As always, you can expect:
🔧 Friendly volunteer repairers
♻️ A chance to save items from landfill
💬 Plenty of community spirit and good chats
🍰 Cake. Very important.

🧸✨ Teddy Bear TLC at Studley Repair Café ✨🧸

Not all heroes wear capes... some arrive a little flat, missing an eye, or in need of their ears putting back where they belong 😄

At our last session we were joined by a couple of very special teddy bears, each carrying years of love, memories and cuddles.

One little bear belonged to a young visitor and had sadly lost quite a bit of his stuffing over the years. After a well deserved refill and some careful sewing, he was feeling much better and ready for more adventures.

We also met a wonderfully well-loved 70 year old teddy bear who came in needing a fresh set of eyes and both ears reattached. With a little patience and care from our volunteers, this treasured old friend was soon looking much more himself again 💛

After their repairs, both bears enjoyed a little tour of the Repair Café, checking out the cakes and posing proudly by our sign outside 🍰📸 Clearly quality control is very important in the teddy community.

These are the kinds of repairs we absolutely love. Not just fixing things, but helping preserve memories, comfort and stories that have been cherished for generations ♻️

Who knew teddy bears could have such busy social lives? 🧸☕

🌸🔧 Another Wonderful Day Helping Things Spring Back to Life 🔧🌸

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at Saturday’s Repair Café session and helped round off our "Spring Back to Life" theme in the best possible way 💛

It was another brilliant day filled with friendly faces, busy repair benches, plenty of tea and cake, and a fantastic variety of items brought in for some much needed TLC.

From kettles and waffle makers to vintage cameras, sewing machines and sentimental keepsakes, there was plenty keeping our volunteers busy throughout the day.

One of our favourite things about Repair Café is seeing that mix of practical everyday items alongside treasured possessions that hold special memories. Every repair has its own little story, and we feel very lucky to play a small part in keeping those stories going ♻️

Thank you again to everyone who came along, supported us, brought items in, donated, chatted, drank tea, ate cake, and helped create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the day ☕🍰

We are already looking forward to the next one!

🌸🔧 Spring Back to Life this Saturday! 🔧🌸

The wait is nearly over… our next Repair Café session is happening this Saturday, and we are ready to get stuck in! 🛠️

With spring in full swing, it is the perfect time to dust off those items that have been quietly sitting in a drawer, cupboard or shed waiting for a bit of attention.

Maybe it is something that stopped working over winter…
Maybe it is something you meant to fix months ago…
Or maybe it is just something you are not quite ready to give up on yet

Whatever it is, bring it along and let our volunteers take a look. From electrical bits to beloved household items (and even the odd garden tool), we are always up for the challenge. 🌱

Expect a room full of friendly faces, plenty of problem solving, a few “aha!” moments and of course the all important tea and cake to keep everyone going ☕🍰
