WHO? Making our views known to service providers. WHERE? WHY?

We are volunteers who are supported by Redditch Borough Council. We meet on the 2nd Thursday of every month except August and December at the Ecumenical Centre Where possible we have representatives on various consultative groups. We meet to share information with each other. We have speakers for 15-30 minutes on topics of your choice. We air complaints and compliments. We learn what organizations

are doing for our benefit and how we can help them improve their services. WE NEED YOUR HELP. Contact us with your ideas and experiences, good and bad! Let us know if you hear of a good service elsewhere, maybe Redditch can do better. Let us welcome you to one of our meetings, a raffle ticket for a pound or a donation to cover our costs
We have an AGM in May to elect officers, we enjoy a summer outing and a winter meal. Let us all pull together to improve the lives of older people in our town.

Important Lake Update - Temporary Pause on Water Activities

We’ve taken the decision to temporarily stop all water-based activities as a precaution while we investigate a suspected bloom of algae.

If you're visiting with dogs, keep them away from the water and stopping them from drinking or swimming in it.

Some types of algae can produce toxins that are harmful to both people and animals, especially dogs. Although we can’t confirm the type at this stage, your safety is our top priority, so we’re taking a careful and responsible approach.

We’ll continue to monitor the water closely and keep you updated as soon as we have more information. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
