Wanted to update following last Saturday, the stand attracted lots of attention 🤩 we made £130 in sales of items made by the Shed, and we also attracted some new members which is very exciting!
Thank you to all who stopped for a chat and supported us 🥰

With the classic car show going on this weekend in the town centre, the Shed is holding a stand by Nationwide bank from 10am-3pm on Saturday to show and sell our handiwork and to sign up more members!

Last week the Shed had another bug hotel building session at the library and also some other creations came to life…..
Frank and his unusual bird box and Sheridan with her garden gate sign 🤩

Remember there is plenty in the window for sale too, even though car park 3 is closed, pop out the back of Primark and come join us, or just take a look at what we have!

In the Shed this week Akram has put the finishing touches to his large garden planter 🤩 and Terry (age 95 years young) has made this beautiful bright garden planter!
Spring has us all like busy bees down at the Shed, please pop in and see 🥰

Due to our lottery funding we are able to do different projects in the community 🥰
So, on 7th April a group of shedders met with 17 children over 2 sessions (ages 6 upwards) to make bug and bee hotels at Redditch Library.
It was aptly named Air Bee N Bee 🐝
And using recycled wood (as we always use at The Shed) they made the creations shown in the picture. The bugs in Redditch will be living in style 🤩

Recent update to share!
On 2nd April MP Chris Bloore came to present the Shed with the lottery grant check meaning the Shed can continue for the foreseeable. We really do depend on this funding to keep doing what we do.
And he also presented our Shedder Terry with a medal on his 95th birthday! 🥳 this dedicated Shedder has come every Tuesday for the last 3 years no matter the weather.
