To the absolute idiot driving a white car number plate GL62CPK check your surroundings when driving!
You tried to cut me up on this corner nearly causing me to go up the curb into the bush with my 2 year old daughter in the car!
You could of stayed in your lane and gone down the same road instead of coming right over making me slam my breaks on so we didn’t crash!

I wanted to say thank you and recommend to anyone (especially with children) to join the library if you haven’t already! I have lived in Redditch 10 years and went to the library for the first time today to sign up me and my son, we took 12 books home and also did the induction for the extended hours service.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, there was a lovely baby group happening and it was wonderful to see a free, community resource being well used by people of all ages. It had such a great atmosphere 🥰

Once registered you can also borrow ebooks and audio books on the borrow box app, so since being home we have also listened to a couple of stories on the iPad 👏🏻 if anyone is a bit anxious about going in somewhere new (as I was) , please don’t worry - everyone in there is lovely

UPDATE: Saba Parking have confirmed that there is still a 20 minute free parking period

WARNING for all drivers using the car park at Redditch railway station.

I’ve just dropped my wife off at the railway station. While walking past the station building, I noticed a new sign on the car park saying PAY ON ARRIVAL.

I walked my wife to the station and, just in case, went over to the parking meter on my way back to the car. The parking time was 5 minutes, and the charge was £5.40!!!
There is no longer a free 30-minute period.

It seems that simply entering the car park - even if you’re only dropping someone off and not actually parking - may result in a charge, as your registration plate is scanned on entry. This could then lead to a penalty charge if payment is not made.

Can you please post to the lad who took 2 parcels from my porch door out side Amazon packages you was with your friend please do the right thing and bring them back b4 you have a visit from the police as already have been reported to them as got you on cctv and video door bell footage your friend was being a good person and not taking them you know who you are and where it was Matchborough East front of garway close AGAIN Already been reported just thought I’ll put it on here if you see it then please do the right thing b4 I take it further

My husband was driving up Coldfield Drive around 7pm this evening when he was hit by a driver of a black ford fiesta that had veered off onto his side of the road. Luckily my husband acted very quickly and avoided a head on smash. The ford fiesta didn’t stop but will have white pain marked down the one side. We have witnesses and the Police have been informed (sadly as no one was injured, don’t really care). Please be careful as people like this think they are invincible and have no care or concern for how they drive and what damage they cause. The car behind had a baby in it so goodness knows how it could have ended.

Can the person who lives in eldersfield close who’s garden backs unto the pathway please stop throwing bread over their fence as I walk pass there every day and I have experienced two rats feeding on it this morning if you continue to do this I’ll report you to public health and you can deal with them
