✨It’s International Zine Month✨and Tuesday is International Zine Library Day…
To celebrate, we will be meeting at Redditch Library (2pm-5pm) to learn about zines and make one (or a few) of our own!

A zine is a self-created booklet that you can design in any way - about your favourite things, a memory, a review, drawings, something serious, or something silly - it’s all yours, and only you get to decide how it’s created! With zines, you are able to express yourself without aiming for perfection.

Information, zine examples, prompts and materials will be provided, but you are welcome to bring things of your own to use or share.

No experience or confidence in your creativity is needed - and everyone is welcome, regardless of age, background, sexual orientation or gender identity; however, children must be supervised by an adult.

Sorry, July session is CANCELLED

Our model has had a last minute family commitment, and we don't have many booked on this time (because so many of you are busy with lovely summer things so I'm happy for you!) so I'll cancel this one, and see you next time!

I am hoping to rebook this particular model for our September session, as we were going to respond to a request from our June event - I like to please you as soon as I can! 😊

Our next session will be August 19th. Sorry again 💖

If you were at Redditch Pride on Saturday, you may have seen our posters around! 🤩

This month’s life drawing session steps a little outside the usual — into something more expressive and participatory.

We’ll be exploring a Pride protest-inspired interactive session, where participants are invited (if they wish) to apply temporary face paint and body markings to consenting models before the drawing begins.*

A space for mark-making, identity, symbolism, and expression — where the body becomes part of the message as well as the subject.

We’ll also be working with two models in the session, offering a wider range of form, presence, and inspiration.

*All participation is fully optional. The body-painting element is consent-led, and models remain in full control of what is applied to their skin at all times. Respectful conduct is required throughout.
