This week we're delighted to welcome Educational Psychologist Emma Soares.

Are you looking for a welcoming space to chat with an experienced professional about your child's development, learning, behaviour, sensory needs or emotional wellbeing?

Emma will be joining us this Wednesday and available to talk to families and signpost to local and national organisations.

More about Emma....
I have been an Educational Psychologist for 29 years, working across local authorities and as an independent practitioner. I support children and young people aged 0–25, carrying out learning, behaviour, sensory and emotional assessments in schools, homes and a range of other settings. My work also involves talking with teachers and parents and writing reports, including for EHCP needs assessments. I recently completed a doctorate where my thesis focused on Young Carers, and I am passionate about empowering young people to believe in themselves and have aspirations. As a parent of five young people aged 15–26, I understand first-hand the joys and challenges of raising children and supporting them into adulthood. Outside of work, you'll find me knitting, sewing, swimming, playing the piano or spending time with my cats.

Each week at our Supported Drop-in community coffee morning you will find:

☕️Hot drinks & fresh snacks provided for children

🛝 Free indoor play space

🌈 Craft or sensory activity for children

💷 Sue from joins us every Wednesday to offer support with budgeting, money management and access to grants.

❤️ Support & friendly faces
Mandy, Sue and Emma will be on hand to chat, listen and help create a space where you feel welcomed and supported.

Offered on a Pay-As-You-Can basis. If you're able to make a donation, it helps us continue providing sessions that support local families.
