Stroud Film Society Stroud Film Society shows a range of films from comedy to drama to documentary and romance - we welcome all new members.

We're a long established, friendly, volunteer-led society that is conveniently located in the centre of town at the Stroud Subscription Rooms. We showcase a varied programme of award winning independent and foreign films. Check out our website www.stroudfilmsociety.org for a full listing of the 2021/22 dates and films. Our membership price is £45 for the full 12 film programme - that's less than £4 a film! (reduced fees available if you join later in the season). Guest tickets are also available at £7 - and provides a good way of checking out the society before you decide to join. We very much look forward to seeing you at one of our events

NEW 2026-27 PROGRAMME starts next week. Tuesday 15th Sept 8pm sees our first film as usual in the Subs Ballroom.
ROAD TO PATAGONIA
Ecologist Matt undertakes a motorcycle/surfing journey from Alaska to Patagonia. Against a backdrop of stunning scenery the film evolves into a heart warming personal spiritual story of romance, the connection with indigenous peoples and the urgent need for conservation of the natural world.
Membership (£45 for all 14 films) available on our website or join on the night. Tickets for individual films remains £7.
