Always a pleasure to be working with St Laurence: Stroud Centre for Peace and the Arts bringing new and exciting events to Stroud
When you arrive you will quickly spy the incredible art piece but as you look closer you discover that everything is enveloped by a shroud of strangely beautiful veils And as you try to pass through to get close to the main structure - almost as if you are being drawn in by magnets, keep your eyes peeled as young circus artists appear as if from nowhere to distract you from your quest with their wizard-like circus skills.
We are delighted to be working with School of Larks on this event and invite everyone to experience the story behind the art at 11am, 12pm, 1pm and 2pm as we introduce
Brendan Mcmoses and the Scrublands Punks with spoken word, circus and more.”
“Moments of Wonder” brought is you by the team behind the annual Festival of Wonder sees St Laurence Church once again transformed into a world of exploration.
While the main Festival weekend is having a fallow year, we are excited to bring together local artists and acts for smaller events throughout the year across the district, with April’s event just the first in our calendar.
Everyone is warmly invited to this FREE event on Saturday 25th April at St Laurence Church in Stroud.
Alongside the hourly performances there will be a reflective space and plenty of interactive creative activities for all ages and abilities - all FREE! - as well as pay as you feel refreshments.
