Stroud Arts Festival Stroud Arts Festival is a charity supporting all types of artistic activities throughout Stroud.

The 79th Stroud Arts Festival runs from 10 - 11 May & 22 – 26 October at venues around Stroud. Founded in 1946, known as the ‘grandparent’ of all the Stroud Festivals, each year the charity distributes funds on behalf of the Margaret and Netlam Bigg Trust in order to support and promote the Arts in Stroud and the Five Valleys. In the last 20 years, this local couple’s generous legacy has seen over

£300,000 poured into delivering world-class events, funding local talent and facilitating programmes in collaboration with other local arts organisations. Stroud Arts Festival has played a pivotal role in establishing some of the key Festivals in Stroud, including setting up Stroud Book Festival and sponsoring the creation of Hidden Notes, Stroud’s Contemporary Music Festival.

🏛🎉Extra thanks to our venues St Laurence: Stroud Centre for Peace and the Arts & The Museum in the Park and we can't wait for The Lost Boys to return to Stroud soon!

📯 Announcement 📯 Sadly, due to cast illness Stroud Arts Festival 80th Celebration: The Monster-Slaying Misadventures of King Arthur has been postponed - we wish them a speedy recovery! ✨️🎫All tickets have been refunded.

To soften the blow, the Stroud Arts Festival Team are offering a free creative drop-in workshop between 10am and 12pm in the Pavilion at The Museum in the Park. We will be running a fun puppet making workshop for all ages. There is something for everyone so join us and get creative! We do hope to see you there!💕

🌟🕑Come and meet Brimstone at 11.30am, 12.30pm or 1.30pm.

🐲💕Brimstone is a fearsome yet misunderstood beast, brought to life by four highly skilled puppeteers to tell the magical tale of his adventures from a hidden island.🎶 In this interactive promenade performance, Brimstone will roam high, low, around, and through the crowds — on a heartfelt quest to find his long-lost friend.💕🎭

🏛➡️Starting our journey at St Laurence: Stroud Centre for Peace and the Arts, roaming down Stroud High Street and popping into Five Valleys Shopping Centre, Brimstone might even visit the Stroud Farmers' Market so there are plenty of places to come and join us and help us celebrate the opening of our 80th Festival Celebration!🎉✨️🎶
