We have now completed Q1 2026. Demand has been high and we have had to start a Waiting list. This has peaked at around £12,000.00 and just highlights that although we appreciate comments that our page is liked, unless we have the funds, the amount of work we can do is limited and those in need will have to wait. As before, any help from £2/month (ie 50p/week) really helps as it all adds up. We keep seeing rises in prices because of inflation and it just makes things harder.
All we can do is detail the help given and the help needed and leave the rest to our readers.

The annual Progress Report to 31st DFecember 2025 has been on our website for some time - access by www.chriswestwoodcharity.co.uk and if you scroll down on the homepage, click the Roports Current button for access to all the latest information.
We completed approx £95,000 in grants and raised just a fraction more, so we have now completed £1.4 Million granted since we started and all at zero admin cost.
January 2026 has already been busy and we have reduced our reserves to zero so unless we can raise further funding we shall need to start a Waiting list for the many sad cases needing help.
So, once again, we need your help, any donations, collections or other fundraising would add to what is already coming in regularly.
We continue to stress the zero cost options to you, the donor, of registering for commission websites, where a percentage of what you buy on line is donated to Charity at no cost to you.
This worked very well with Amazon Smile until they stopped doing it, but both easyfundraising and Give as You Live have thousands of well known companies registered, and we are registered with both.
In addition to raising funds for us, again at no cost, you are entered into prize draws, and the chance of winning is probably a lot less than the lottery. When the Charity signed up with Easyfundraising a few years ago, we won a £100.00 donation prize, so since it is no cost, worth at least looking at.
All we can do is ask, we need at least another £100,000 this year to keep up with the serious demand that exists and we can only thank htose who have so kindly supported us so far.

We have just reached the end of Q3, a period which has been typical in that it was relatively quiet during July/August, and then in September activity increased rapidly as young people returned to school or started a new school, and new requirements for equipment became clear.
With a surge in demand, we have finally reduced our reserves to zero and been forced to start a Waiting list. We started one in early September and cleared it quickly as funding came in, and again in mid September. However with the requests for help rising we have just started a third list and we already have over £8,800 outstanding that we wish to fund as soon as we can.

We have attached the report, and once again we can only add that without funding we are unable to do the desperately needed work we are requested to help with. Small donations or no cost online purchase commissions (see the many leaflets we have posted in the past or have a look on the Donation page of our website) all add up and help so any assistance would be very welcome. Without it, those on the Waiting list may face a much longer wait than we would wish.
