On Sunday, Stourbridge Ramblers took on a fantastic 10-mile walk across the Long Mynd, enjoying some beautiful Shropshire scenery along the way.

And what better way to finish than by taking on ALL the cake! 😋🍰 We headed to Little Stretton for the annual Teas4Please and Scarecrow Competition.

Despite the rain, everyone had a brilliant time, and the cake was definitely worth getting a little wet for! ☔😂

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make it such an enjoyable day. We’re already looking forward to returning next year! 🥾❤️

A huge thank you to all the emergency services, farmers and local residents who came together to help and ensure the situation was dealt with as quickly as possible.

A few weeks ago, 20 members of Stourbridge Ramblers enjoyed a fantastic walking weekend at Elan Valley Lodge.

Over the course of the weekend, we were expertly guided by Steve and Tudor on four beautiful walks, taking in the stunning scenery that Elan Valley has to offer. We were also blessed with wonderful weather, great company, and delicious food – making it a truly memorable trip.

Following such a successful weekend, we’re planning to run the trip again next year. We hope you’ll join us!

Everyone at Stourbridge Ramblers would like to wish Elaine, our vice-chair and walks coordinator a very happy 60th Birthday! 🎂

On Tuesday we had an afternoon tea and a walk for some of our members to celebrate. We would like to thank halesowengolfclub for hosting and we highly recommend the afternoon tea.

🌿 New Year, New Walks, New Friends! 🌿

Thinking about getting more active this year? Why not join Stourbridge Ramblers and start 2026 on the right foot 👣

We walk 3–4 times a week, offering a variety of distances and paces, so there’s something for everyone. As well as our regular walks, we enjoy social events, days out, and walking holidays throughout the year.

Walking is brilliant for physical and mental health, and it’s also a great way to meet new people and make friends in a relaxed, welcoming group. You can come along, enjoy the countryside, and walk at your own pace — no pressure, just good company.
