Partying in the gardens last night so please be aware of the possibility of broken glass in the grass. FOLLG have cleared all they could find.
A big thank you to Mark from LitterLess Leigh who had collected several bags of rubbish from around the gardens before our volunteers arrived. There seems to be an ongoing problem with the bins being emptied so if possible please take your rubbish home.
Also while I’m having a moan, please don’t pick the flowers. They are paid for from the money raised in the community so they are your flowers to be enjoyed by everyone.

Spot the gap where the plants are missing - stolen from the planter - 😡 not for the first time. Our volunteer often buys these plants from her own pocket to try and make it look nice for people walking through. It’s hard work to keep the area looked after and looking good. So disappointing that there are folk who feel entitled to help themselves to anything in a public place, when it’s actually there for the enjoyment of all. 😞
