On 20 September, our wonderful Chair of Trustees, Mike Nicholson will be stepping out of his comfort zone in a very big way by undertaking a tandem skydive at the age of 74 to raise funds for our charity.

Summer often means more washing, but that doesn't have to mean higher bills.

Where you can, wait until you've got a full load before switching your washing machine on. Full loads make better use of the energy and water used during each cycle.

If you're on a time-of-use tariff, washing during cheaper hours could help reduce costs even further.

One full load is often better than two half loads.
