🍷 Our Wine Tasting Group enjoyed a fantastic visit to New Hall Vineyard.
Set amongst the beautiful Essex countryside, they spent a wonderful morning learning about the vineyard, the winemaking process, and, of course, sampling some of their delicious award-winning wines.
Cheers to another successful outing for our Wine Tasting Group! 🍇🥂

We do love a good laugh at Legra Ladies WI!
Following the formalities of our AGM last night, we were treated to a fantastic evening with Kat Gooch, the "Joy Queen". Kat was engaging, uplifting and had the most infectious laugh. We all took part in Laughter Yoga, which lifted our spirits, calmed our minds and, most importantly, had us laughing out loud together. What a wonderful way to spend an evening!
Special thanks to Linda Bartholomew of Broadway Belles WI for overseeing our AGM and helping the evening run so smoothly.
Here's to another year of friendship, fun and laughter!

We are delighted to share a new resource for the Bystanders Can Be Lifesavers campaign, the Defibrillator (AED) Guidance Resource.

The guide is full of practical information to help you raise awareness on the importance of defibrillators (AEDs) and includes clear, accessible guidance and resources on AEDs and offers a number of ways for WI members to get involved to make a lifesaving difference.

Increasing confidence and understanding around defibrillator use directly supports the aims of the Bystanders Can Be Lifesavers campaign, empowering bystanders to act quickly and effectively during a cardiac arrest. This guide will act as a vital tool for you to raise awareness on the importance of having AEDs in your communities.

Members of Legra Leafs from Legra Ladies WI were proud to support the 'Surfers Against Sewage' protest at Chalkwell Beach last Saturday, standing together to raise awareness about sewage pollution and the protection of our coastline.
Our Climate Ambassador, Emma, delivered a passionate and inspiring speech highlighting the need for change, the importance of cleaner seas, environmental responsibility, and community action.
The event attracted over 100 supporters and featured powerful appearances from Tom Mckay and Posy Stirling who starred in Dirty Business — the hard-hitting campaign and production drawing attention to the ongoing issue of sewage discharges into UK waterways and their impact on both wildlife and public health.
It was fantastic to see so many local people coming together to make their voices heard and support positive change for our environment. 🌊💚
