💜 🎄 Give a family something to look forward to this Christmas 🎄 💜

For many of us, Christmas means delicious food, gathering around the table and sharing a meal with those we love, eating too much, but for the families PCF supports, Christmas looks very different.

Hundreds of families rely on discarded leftovers from fast-food restaurants and refired to make a meal. Parents face the heartbreak of telling their children that, once again, there will be no presents and nothing fresh or special to eat.

Your generosity can help change that. By donating to PCF’s Christmas Food Appeal, you can help us provide food packs for the most vulnerable children and families, bringing a nourishing meal to their table and seeing smiles from their children, easing the worry of parents struggling to provide even the most basic of meals.

A huge thank you to Debbie! 💜

Debbie ran our stall at the Inner Wheel Conference last April, and recently Jane met up with her to collect an incredible 77.3kg of ring pulls.

Not only had Debbie encouraged lots of her friends and connections to collect ring pulls for us, but she also took the time to wash every single one and carefully sort them by colour.

The coloured ring pulls are especially important, as they are the most sought after and the ones we need the most.

We are so grateful for all the hard work, dedication and support that Debbie and everyone who collected for her have shown.

If you are collecting ring pulls for us, separating them by colour is what we really need.

🌸 A Lovely D1010 Conference Story 🌸

As well as speaking at the D1010 Conference in Dunfermline today, Jane also held a raffle for a large stuffed lion that had been generously donated.

Thanks to the incredible support of attendees, funds were raised, with half of the proceeds being donated to Rotary's Polio Campaign.

It felt especially fitting to support this cause on International Polio Day. Rotary's first polio project took place in the Philippines in 1979, where children were vaccinated against polio, launching a global effort that has helped protect millions of children around the world.

A huge thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets, supported the handmade ring pull products created by mothers in our livelihood programme, and helped make the day such a success.

Lovely picture of the winner collecting his prize, Jane also gifted one of our handmade ring pull Rotary lanyards as well.

Jane was delighted to be a speaker at the D1010 Conference in Dunfermline, Scotland, today.
She received such a warm welcome from the organisers and attendees and enjoyed connecting with so many inspiring people throughout the event.

Jane was also thrilled to sell hundreds of ring pull products, all lovingly handmade by mothers taking part in our livelihood programme. Every purchase helps support their skills, creativity, and opportunities to generate income for their families.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who stopped by, showed their support, and helped make the day such a success. ♻️ 💜

📍 D1120 Rotary District Conference

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us at the D1120 Rotary District Conference! Jane enjoyed chatting to everyone over the two days, we sold lots of our products and were overwhelmed by the generosity of those who donated ring pulls.

During quieter moments, Jane started separating the coloured ring pulls from the silver ones to take back to Manila. Coloured ring pulls are like gold dust to us, so every single one is treasured!
Our wonderful neighbours on the table next to us, from Canine Partners noticed what Jane was doing and kindly jumped in to help sort the coloured ring pulls too. What started as a one-person task quickly became a team effort.

Thank you to Canine Partners, everyone who donated ring pulls, and all those who already take the time to separate out the coloured ones for us. Your support makes a real difference and is greatly appreciated. 💙

What a truly special evening we had last night at the launch of the 2027 Ladiesfirst Professional Development Charity Calendar at Birmingham Rep Theatre. ✨💜

It was an honour for us to join Elinor Perry and so many inspiring women to celebrated the launch of this incredible project and the powerful stories behind it.

As Founder of Purple Community Fund, Jane feels immensely proud and grateful that PCF has been chosen as one of the charities to benefit from this year's calendar. Every woman featured has stepped outside her comfort zone to support causes close to her heart, demonstrating courage, compassion, and a shared commitment to making a difference.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Tracey McAtamney, the Ladies First Professional Development team, and the other 38 incredible women taking part in this year's calendar. Your passion, generosity, and commitment to supporting charities and raising awareness are truly inspiring.

The evening was a wonderful celebration of community, collaboration, and the positive impact that can be achieved when people come together for a greater purpose. We are proud to be part of this journey and excited to see the difference this project will make.

💜 Thank You for Supporting Purple Community Fund 💜

A huge thank you to everyone who joined the Quiz Night at Downton Baptist Church on Saturday evening and helped raise much-needed funds for the Purple Community Fund.

It was a fantastic evening filled with fun, friendship, great food, and plenty of quiz competition! We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of everyone who attended and donated to support our work.

Special thanks to Downton Baptist Church for continuing to stand alongside us and championing our work. Helpings us to support some of the world's most disadvantaged communities through education, feeding programmes, livelihood opportunities, and skills training that enable families to flourish.
