At our centre in Tondo, we're proud to provide healthcare support to the community 6 days a week.

Our attending volunteer doctors hold clinics 3 days each week, while our dedicated community health workers, nurse, and nursing assistant ensure that our pharmacy remains open every day, providing access to essential medicines and laboratory tests.

Thank you to our incredible team for their commitment and service to our community in Tondo.

Many thanks to everyone that supports our healthcare program. Together, we're helping to make healthcare more accessible for all. 💜

Regular Focus Groups are an important part of keeping us in touch and connected with the community.

At the heart of everything we do is our commitment to supporting the community. Our Focus Groups provide a welcoming and open forum where people can stay informed about our programmes, share their views, raise concerns, and discuss any changes in their circumstances that may be affecting their lives.

These conversations help us better understand the needs of our community, enabling us to adapt our services and continue providing meaningful support where it is needed most.

Jane and Tess coordinated the Quarterly General Assembly UFI Staff Meeting, providing an open forum for team members to discuss HR matters, operational concerns, and opportunities for improvement.

These meetings help foster open communication, strengthen collaboration, and create a harmonious and supportive work environment for everyone.

To conclude the day, they enjoyed a buffet lunch together as a team, giving them an opportunity to connect, relax, and celebrate their shared commitment to serving the community.

Jane and the UFI team welcomed LBC Foundation for volunteering and supporting a wonderful programme for children in our community in Tondo whose parents cannot afford to send them to school.

This activity brought so much joy, laughter, and excitement to the children. The LBC volunteers were incredibly attentive, caring, and engaged throughout the day, making it a truly memorable experience for everyone involved. The children and volunteers also enjoyed a lovely meal together, creating special moments and lasting memories.

Learning, growing, and creating new opportunities! ✨

Despite the ongoing challenges following the fire, the mothers that work in our Ring Pull livelihood program continue to demonstrate incredible resilience and determination.

With orders remaining low, Jane and the Upskills+ Foundation Inc. team have been exploring ways to create supplemental income opportunities and strengthen livelihoods. Recently, they welcomed a trainer to provide hands-on training in glycerin soap and dishwashing liquid making, equipping the ladies with practical new skills.

These skills will not only help us produce products for our hygiene packs but also open up opportunities for future income generation. We are proud of the enthusiasm and commitment shown by the ladies as they embrace new opportunities, learn new skills, and continue moving forward with hope and determination.

We are excited to see how these skills develop into sustainable opportunities and are grateful to everyone who continues to support this journey.

🎉 Congratulations to Batch 8 of our Livelihood Mothers Program! 🎉

Wonderful to celebrate an incredible milestone as these talented women graduate from our Basic Sewing Classes and take the next exciting step into Intermediate Sewing Training. 🧵

Through dedication, hard work, and determination, they have developed valuable sewing skills that can help create opportunities to support their families, give them independence, and a brighter future.

We’re so proud of everything they have achieved and can’t wait to see what they accomplish next.

💻📚 Empowering Our Community Through Digital Learning

A huge congratulations to the mothers who are studying for their Online BA in Business Administration taking computer literacy classes for adult learners.

Many of these mothers have been dedicated volunteers within our community for years but never had the opportunity to receive formal computer training. Through the support of our IT Department and IT students, who are volunteering their time every Saturday, they are strengthening their computer skills and gaining the confidence needed to succeed in their studies and beyond.

We are proud to be part of their journey and inspired by their determination to learn and grow.

A new chapter begins for 20 child laborers who were given the opportunity to become scholars through the AY Foundation's Upskilling Program.

Together with their parents, the scholars attended their first orientation, where they were introduced to the program and received school supplies to support them as they prepare for the upcoming school year.

This milestone marks the beginning of a journey toward education, hope, and brighter opportunities. With the support of the AY Foundation we were able to invest in the future of these young learners and helping empower them through education.
