A diverse group of founders, leaders, and enthusiasts. Our range of events includes inspiring talks from seasoned entrepreneurs, reflections from students on running a startup at university, skills workshops on the basics of running a business, competitions that can propel you and your idea forward, and many more. The events are often informal, conversational, and engaging, with many opportunities

to ask questions and gain feedback, and with the customary pizza and drinks. We also organize socials where you can learn more about the committee, the behind-the scenes, and talk to others in the society, exchanging jokes, experiences, and ideas. We are here to help anyone and everyone achieve their entrepreneurial ambitions. Whether you have an idea for a startup, want to find out more about being an entrepreneur, or already have experience and are looking to connect with like-minded individuals, don't hesitate to come to our events or get in touch.

It is that time of the year once again! We would like to congratulate the new committee of Fish on Toast 2023-24! FoT will have an amazing committee that will take the society to an all-time high!

We also have a message from Radu Popescu (FoT President 2021-23)

"What ride this has been! Being President for the past two years has been an amazing experience, from all the friends I have made, to all the events I've organised and run with my committee. I will cherish the moments I have had running the society, and will miss it very much. Thank you everyone for making Fish on Toast what it is and being part of the community. I'm looking forward to see the society grow further, and once more, congratulations to the new community!!"

Navigating your business to success in today's volatile markets is no easy task. The constantly evolving landscape of new players, supplier and buyer pressures should always be on the radar of the C-suite. But besides the fierce battles of corporates, competition also has many advantages as it is a healthy driving force of innovation. You have probably seen numerous examples of the public sector's agility compared to the public sector (self-driving cars, revolutionary medicine, reusable rockets, etc.)

Similar to natural selection, isn't it, but is there a way to determine which side of the equation will a business end up? Awareness, motivation, and capability - three factors that influence a company's approach to a competitive threat. In the next workshop, we'll advise a manufacturer on how to respond to pricing pressures and a new market entrant.
