Here at Shropshire Fostering, we want to ensure all our children and young people get to experience the magic of every season 🎃

We recently hosted a Halloween arts & crafts event! From spooky painting to creative crafts, all the children and young people had a wonderful time!

We were so proud of their artwork and their wonderful reminder to each other: "Be brave” “You are Brave!" and yes, they really are! 🎨

Meet Kate, our Learning and Development Officer at Shropshire Fostering 🌟

Kate has worked in fostering for many years, including more than a decade as a Supervising Social Worker supporting foster carers and families across Shropshire.

Today, she helps coordinate the training and development opportunities available to our foster carers, ensuring they have the knowledge, skills and support they need throughout their fostering journey.

We recently caught up with Kate to learn more about her career, her experience supporting young people and her advice for anyone thinking about fostering.
