👋 Meet Dawn Reed — Operations Support Manager for the South
Dawn’s journey with CMA began as a client. After spending much of her adult life in debt, she reached financial crisis point in 2008 following the birth of her first child. In 2012 she received support through her local CMA Debt Advice Centre which completely changed the direction of her life.
By 2014 Dawn had begun volunteering alongside her debt adviser, and in 2015 she trained as a debt adviser herself. She became debt free in 2019 and now uses her experience to support centres, volunteers and clients across the South.
In 2024 she joined CMA as Operations Support Manager, helping equip local centres and delivering training on:
• Budget coaching
• Supporting vulnerable clients
• Debt advice foundations
Dawn says: “I love seeing the amazing work going on in my region to support people in their communities and also meeting a variety of people through my training role.”
Her lived experience gives her a unique understanding of the challenges many clients face — and a real passion to help people find lasting freedom from debt.
