CMA is a Christian charity that enables and supports churches & community groups to establish local, free-to-client, face-to-face money advice services.

We are part of the CAP Group. Community Money Advice (CMA) is a national charity that for 25 years has enabled community groups to establish local, free to client, face to face money advice services, through the provision of a range of services including: industry standard training; approved sample policies and procedures; a freephone Adviceline; regional mentors; administration software and information resources. We are committed to supporting churches and other community groups with a vision to help people overcome their money problems and make a fresh start on a stable financial footing free from the blight of indebtedness.

☕🍰 Coffee, cake and conversations about poverty.

CMA Launceston marked Challenge Poverty Week with a community coffee morning, bringing together local leaders, organisations and volunteers to talk about poverty, the challenges facing local families and the winter ahead.

Events like this help build connections, raise awareness and tackle the stigma that can stop people seeking help with debt.

And that’s a wrap on the CMA Conference 2026! 🎉

We’ve had a fantastic couple of days learning from one another, sharing ideas and strengthening connections across our network.

Today, we heard inspiring stories from our centres, explored ways to maximise income for the people we support, and got into the practical details of the challenges debt advice centres face during two lively Q&A sessions.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to making Envision 2026 such a brilliant conference. We’re heading home with fresh ideas, new insights and plenty to take back to our centres!

We've had a brilliant first day at the Envision Conference! 🎉

We've been learning about benefits with The Benefits Training Company, hearing from Stewart McCulloch, CAP Group CEO, and listening to stories and updates from our local centres, including Noah's Ark in Halifax.

It's always great to catch up with others across the network, share experiences and learn from one another.
