We meet on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm at St Giles Church Hall Sutton Way Shrewsbury SY2 6EH.

We had lovely afternoon at the Lyth Hill Group of WI’s Spring Social today. Our guest speaker talked of her interesting life - starting out as a ski instructor, before 5 years as MET police officer, and 16 year as BA Cabin Crew. She learned of her love of baking from her Granny in her home town of Dundee and felt inspired to sign up for the Great British Bake Off making it to week 5 in series 14
We then enjoyed a cream tea of scones, jam and cream, lots of homemade cake and a glass of fizz

Come and visit WI Day in Shrewsbury Abbey on Saturday.
St Giles have a stall with a fabulous selection of handmade goodies - cards, preserves, dried flowers and guess the weight of the cake!!
You can pay by card on our stall.
Good luck to all who have entered the individual and cooperative classes.
