In Ukraine" - A Talk.

Where: Barnes Theatre, Shrewsbury School, Ashton Road SY3 7BA
When: Thu 19th Feb 2026. (7pm-8.30pm. Doors open at 6.30pm. Bar refreshments).
Entry: FREE (any donations will go towards humanitarian aid for Ukraine)

Since mid 2022 local man Paul has been sourcing and delivering humanitarian aid directly to the frontline regions of Ukraine - such as Sumy, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Odesa.

Focusing on supporting civilians and the emergency services he has delivered everything from an ambulance, 4x4 vehicles, generators to medical supplies, hygiene products and much more. He has, so far, completed 33 trips and has covered thousands of miles in country..

Through the use of raw, personal videos and photographs he tells his story of the hardship and sorrow of those caught up in these frontline regions and shows where the humanitarian aid goes - often to places of danger.

Through his talk Paul also highlights the work of the often untold story of volunteer humanitarian aid workers in a country at war. A talk of sorrow, despair but also resilience and hope.
