Thankyou to everyone who joined us for our Family Nature Day, we had a great day pond dipping 🐸, painting pebbles, making pine cone bird feeders, 🐦‍⬛, going on a narrowboat trip. We hope you enjoyed it too!

Our annual Family Nature Day is taking place this week! Will you join us?

📅 Saturday 13th June 2026

We’ve got lots of fun activities planned for everyone to enjoy!

Activities will include: pond dipping, bird talks, nature craft activities (making pinecone birdfeeders), local honey for sale, Chesterfield canal narrow boat trips, an all day coffee van, and ice cream van (12-1pm), raffle prizes to be won (Cresswell crags annual membership, family mini golf pass, Rufford parking, Thaymar ice cream voucher & Nottcutts wildlife gardening supplies) and so much more!

We are excited to share that work has commenced on the installation of the new Community Sculpture at the Summit of the Woodlands and Coachwood Green.

Please bear with us whilst this groundwork is undertaken.

Thankyou to everyone who contributed ideas and input into the design and we look forward to unveiling the final sculpture in a few weeks.
