A huge thanks to these ESOL learners from Aspiring Communities Together for their help on the allotment yesterday.

We started off drinking some lovely lemon balm tea and taking a tour of the allotment. I got to learn the names of vegetables growing on the allotment in different languages. Then the learners helped with weeding and composting and we all got to benefit from spending time in nature!

Outdoor babygroup happening tomorrow 11am until 1pm. No need to book, just turn up on the day. It's a lovely and relaxing way for you to spend some time in nature with your baby.

We've got a variety of seasonal activities with mud kitchen, water play and sensory play for newborns up to the early walking stage. Sessions cost £2 and we have a card reader. Please wear clothes appropriate for the outdoors. There is rain forecast tomorrow, but we have a lovely sheltered area for activities too!

Kids can get involved with gardening, outdoor play and nature inspired art activities with🌿🖍. It’s drop-in, so rock up whenever suits you and your little ones. All families and caregivers are welcome.

Equipment, refreshments and snacks provided, so please do sign up in advance so we can get enough snacks.. Please wear suitable footwear and clothes that can get mucky. Don’t be put off by bad weather; we have hot drinks, blankets and a shelter ♨️!

Our outdoor babygroup is happening tomorrow on the Green City Action Allotment on Grimesthorpe road. There are lots of dandelions out at the moment so we’ll also be doing some painting and drawing with dandelions (age appropriate ofcourse). We’ve got mud kitchen activities, water and sensory play with edible plants from the allotment.

These wednesday sessions are for parents/caregivers with newborns up to the early walking stage. It's looking like a lovely sunny day tomorrow anorl (though we do have a lovely shelter if it gets too wet, windy or cold). They sessions are a relaxing and low key was for you to spend time exploring nature together with your baby. Wednesdays 11am till 1pm, drop in, so no need to prebook. Sessions cost £2 and we have a card reader. Please wear clothes appropriate for the outdoors.
