North Wales Freemasons support a local Environmental Conservation Organisation.

St Tudwal’s Lodge 4433 of Pwllheli have donated a total of £1,000 to Ffrindiau Pwllheli to support bringing an area of underused land in Pwllheli into a shared growing space. This space will be used to support local wellbeing projects to develop the site into a community owned and volunteer run market garden.

On behalf of the lodge the donation was presented to James Williamson of Ffrindiau Pwllheli Friends by John Reader along with several other Lodge members. The donation comprised of £500 from the Lodge and match funding of another £500 from the North Wales Freemasons Charity.

The project is intended to deliver practical, lasting benefits for the people of Pwllheli. It will create a year-round space where residents can meet, volunteer, and learn hands-on skills, helping to reduce social isolation, particularly during the quieter winter months. The garden will also increase access to fresh, affordable food, support pollinators and local wildlife, and provide a welcoming environment for people of all ages.

North Wales Freemasons support Môn and Arfon Stroke Club

Two young Masons from the Môn and Arfon Region were delighted to represent the Region and make a donation to Mrs. Gwenda Williams of the Môn and Arfon Stroke Club.

Richard Hughes of Twrcelyn Lodge 6944 & Adam Thomas of Segontium Lodge 606 presented a cheque for £600. The donation comprised £300 from the Regions Charity Funds and £300 match funding from the North Wales Freemasons Charity.

The Môn and Arfon Stroke Club hold regular lunches and entertainment with transport arranged for those attending along with visits to different venues, such as Port Meirion, Beaumaris, and the Gallery in Caernarfon.
The clubs main aim is to offer companionship through meeting and talking to each other. The club also arranges walking events and quizzes, all of which help towards mental health and wellbeing.

Well done Môn and Arfon Region for your continued support of your local community.

Fishing, Friendship and Wellbeing

A fantastic day at Tan-y-Mynydd Trout Fishery, as the North Wales Freemasons Fishing Charity welcomed visitors to its Open Day and demonstrated the difference this wonderful initiative can make.

The weather played its part, as the day brought people together in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

The North Wales Freemasons Fishing Charity uses fishing as a simple but powerful way to support wellbeing, build confidence and create positive experiences for people of all ages and abilities. Sometimes it is about catching a fish; often, it is the conversation, encouragement and sense of achievement that matter even more.

The event was attended by Paul Maddocks, Provincial Grand Master & Phil James, Assistant Provincial Grand Master & Chairman of North Wales Freemasons Charity.

Paul said: “We have witnessed first-hand the wonderful community engagement. We are proud to support this initiative and look forward to many more enjoyable days at Tan y Mynydd."

North Wales Freemasons Support Nightingale House Hospice.

The newly formed Wrexham University Lodge 4233 formally Bromfield Lodge have donated £500 to Nightingale House Hospice in memory of the late mother of one of its members.
Making the donation on behalf of the Lodge were Wayne Morris and Scott McGuill, who’s mother recently passed away whilst an inpatient at the hospice. The lodge wanted to make the donation in appreciation of the care provided by Helen Glaze all the staff at the hospice.

North Wales Freemasons are proud to support The Not Forgotten

The United Grand Lodge of England in partnership with military charity The Not Forgotten is thrilled to announce a very special event this November, with all funds raised going to support UK veterans.

Performers include world-renowned tenor Russell Watson and BRIT-Award winning classical trio Blake, actress and singer Anita Harris, Strictly Come Dancing stars Kristina Rihanoff and Pasha Kovalev, celebrated organist Sir Andrew Parmley, and bringing the flavour of military music, The London Scottish Pipes and Drums and The Heroes Band.

The concert has been organised to coincide with the Supreme Grand Chapter meeting on Wednesday 11th November 2026 and will include an unforgettable night of music, memory, and magnificence staged in the Grand Temple at Freemasons’ Hall.

Doors: 17:00

Curtain up: 18:00

The performance will end at 19:45 so that the audience can catch their trains home.

The programme will cover a variety of music honouring all those who have served and will bring alive the history of the United Grand Lodge of England, Freemasonry and the work of The Not Forgotten.

The evening will conclude with a moving act of remembrance and rousing finale of Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory – Union Flags at the ready.

Tickets cost £75 and are on sale now. It is expected that there will be exceptional demand for tickets given the line up and setting, so book now to avoid disappointment.
