Thank you becky martin and Darren Millar for replying to email... still 4 more MSs to reply.
But I'd like to point out, we have a Veteran in Rhyl in a tent.
14 years service and councils in past refused to help him.
Thank you Crispin Jones for helping. Wish we had more like you.
Streetlink.org.uk have been filled in. But Denbighshire County Council won't reply when I fill in these forms!! I wonder if our new CEO of denbighshire would like to tell me why.
For 6 years we have provided all agencies with tents, sleeping bags, hygiene packs, clothes and food for rough sleepers. Tickets for families living in Hotels and B+Bs. This year DCC have refused to take them to help families. Refused Easter eggs. Luckily lots of agencies still ask... daily.
They have told families it's because I'm not a CIC or Charity. OK for 5 years!!
So we now have a CIC set up. I'm sure DCC will check. Look on companies house.
But our main aim is to get more help for homeless veterans. Welsh Government need to remove the Nedd for local connection. Same as England.

Welcome to StreetLink. Make an alert if you've seen someone sleeping rough, or if you're sleeping rough and want to find out about local support services.

Each year we sleep on streets to raise awareness of homeless veterans.
Tonight I'm meeting a Veteran.. ex Queens Dragoon Guard.
Im going to support him in only way we are allowed... a tent, sleeping bag etc.
Will be calling local council homeless team Monday.
I emailed local MSs here in Clwyd last month. Out of the six only Darren Millar replied.
Why here in Wales do we treat veterans so bad?? We need change!! We need it now... I've been calling for Welsh goverement to get rid of the local connection for veterans.
But my calls fall on deaf ears. I'm so angry... we voted in new MSs and they aren't bothered.

Another busy Friday for Richard Kendrick
Work then he was off to see Mary Eromosele at the The Town Fryer to pick up chips for the Beacon.
The Beacon is at The Salvation Army - Rhyl Corps on Windsor street. Open Monday to Friday 9am till 4.30pm it's ran by a great team of people Mandy Weaver Kris McCall Virginia Griffin
It's a joint venture between Kaleidoscope and The Salvation Army.
Supporting so many people.
Each Friday they support dozens of people with food. This week they had a chippy dinner.
Next Richard visited the Cob in Rhyl. Local residents had called to say a couple of tents have been pitched there.
Unfortunately on arriving Richard found one tent has been slashed and damaged. We will be emailing councillor Crispin Jones for help with area.
Then off to Meliden and Prestatyn to visit rough sleepers. To offer advice and guidance. Two will be visiting the Benefit Advice Shop this week for help. Food was bought for a young lady who will be visiting another group on Monday morning.
This week we have had calls from Flint probation, Queen's Market Rhyl, meliden golf club, Salvation Army, library in Llandudno and a call from a national radio station about how many homeless women there are in the UK. Please Google the report this week.
Emails from Gill German MP and Darren Millar
Will be a busy weekend... just listen to the wind outside. Until you have slept on the streets, you don't know how hard it is. Car is packed all the time. Ready for calls day or night.
We aim to get to every call that day. Even if late at night.
Thank you to everyone who supports our work.
