Pumpkin picking fun! 🎃

One of the people we support, Vicky, had an amazing time picking out the perfect pumpkin for Halloween.

Back at home the carving began...and there was a funny moment when hen Vicky thought the pumpkin contents might be her tea and decided it was time for a little taste test!

Vicky was so proud of her pumpkin, it's ready to shine bright and spooky on Halloween night. 👻

A fun filled weekend in Blackpool! 🎇

From the iconic view of Blackpool Tower (maybe a visit to the top next time!) to meeting the stars in Madame Tussauds, it was a weekend full of smiles for one of the people we support.

After enjoying a classic tram ride, the day ended with a spectacular fireworks display and of course a visit to the arcades! 👾

As part of our 35th anniversary celebrations, our team shared the great idea of creating a lasting memorial to all those who have been involved with Cartref Ni over the years.

We're excited to say it's now here - a beautiful memorial bench installed at Roe Plas Meadow in St Asaph. A quiet place to sit, reflect and remember the many people who helped shape our charity into what it is today.

A huge thank you to the excellent Meifod Wood Products for crafting something so special and to everyone who contributed ideas to mark this milestone.

We hope many of you take a moment to visit and enjoy the space.

What a day! 🐒 One of the people we support enjoyed a brilliant day out to Trentham Monkey Forest for a wild adventure in the 60-acre woodlands with the free-roaming Barbary Macaques.

He couldn't stop smiling when he spotted some of the babies amongst the bigger Macaques as they walked around, and watched them being fed.

Eclipse views at the Brenig! 🌘

Some of the people we support had a fantastic evening watching the recent Solar Eclipse.

Picnics, stunning views and music - it was an amazing experience to witness.

Staff described the experience as ‘unforgettable’ and ‘moments like this make me love my job even more’. ❤️
