Ironic but these are the ones that pull on the heart strings
In 2006, Michael Stepien was killed in a robbery. His heart was donated to Arthur Thomas, a man who had been waiting for a transplant. ❤️
Ten years later, Michael’s daughter Jeni was getting married and in Instead of leaving an empty chair for her father, she reached out to Arthur—a man she had never met—and asked him to walk her down the aisle. 💍
Arthur flew over and did exactly that. In August 2016, he walked Jeni toward the altar, carrying the heart of the father she had lost. 🥹❤️
At the altar, Jeni placed her hand on his chest.
She could feel her father’s heartbeat. ❤️🩹
