What we do...
Weekly Monday meetings at Rotherfield Village Hall where members enjoy a diverse range of speakers, entertainment and a range of activities. Projects providing health related activities and supportive therapies. Outings to places of interest and people’s homes. "Holiday at Home" which runs for three days in the summer when we have an outing to the coast, a day of activities at the Village Hall and other fun events. Volunteer Driving Scheme covering a wide area - to take people to hospital, health care appointments and for shopping trips.

We have beautiful Jennings designed Christmas Cards on sale at the RSM office, depicting Rotherfield in the snow. There are 10 cards in a pack and cost £5. All proceeds to St Denys' Church.

Our industrious knitters and natterers have been busy again. With Betty at the helm, this month they have donated 83 blankets to a Ukrainian charity and 33 blankets to the Shoebox Appeal. Well done ladies xx

We are thrilled that Rotherfield Parish Council have awarded RSM £8,167 for 2027/2028 in support our work, combating isolation and loneliness in our community. We are proud to be a community that cares for one another.

Our Bereavement Café is a safe and welcoming place to take a break from carrying grief on your own. It's a space where you can speak honestly about your loss, be listened to with compassion, and meet others who understand the ups and downs of bereavement.
Many people find comfort, connection and reassurance simply by sharing with others.

What do you get if you take two RSM volunteers, one huge pumpkin and a wheelbarrow - two very happy boys and £115 raised for RSM.
Thank you to Betty who is a fantastic ambassador and fundraiser for RSM and to Stephen who grew and donated the huge pumpkin which weighed in at 4 stone!

Art, creativity, friendship, tuition and tea and cake - what a great way to spend a rainy morning.

We have been donated a HUGE pumpkin this year, and so we thought we'd raffle it ahead of Halloween to give the lucky winner time to carve it or make a vat of pumpkin soup!
Our very own 'Witchy Bet' will be outside RSM at 2:30pm today selling tickets for only £1, so come and say hello, she's not as scary as she looks !
If you miss her, tickets will be sold in the office until the lucky winner is drawn next week.
