If you’re looking for something a little different to do this October half term, come and spend an autumn afternoon with us at The Cuddly Sheep Retreat overlooking beautiful Filey Bay. 🧡

This isn’t a scary Halloween event — think pumpkin patch meets cosy autumn farm experience, with a little bit of magic thrown in. ✨

We deliberately keep our sessions small so it never feels overcrowded and families can actually enjoy the experience rather than queueing their way around it.

Some sessions still have availability, but once each little group is full, that’s it. 🎃

My Daughter Sam came up with an idea she was not sure would work. But after a slow start it took off and people loved it. We have now found out she is a finalist and we are keeping everything crossed

I’m so excited to see bookings coming in already for our Very Sheepie Halloween at The Cuddly Sheep Retreat! 🧡

This half-term, come and spend 90 minutes with us for a slightly different kind of Halloween — pumpkins, sheep, our Halloween trail, games, marshmallows, hot chocolate and plenty of autumnal fun. 🍂🔥🐑

Tickets are £15 per child and include ONE accompanying adult, and we’re keeping each session small so it doesn’t feel overcrowded. Some of the dates and times are already starting to fill, so if you’ve got a particular session in mind, I wouldn’t leave it too long. 👀🎃

Our brand-new Sheep Explorer Base Camp has spaces available this week! 🌿🔎

This isn’t just a sheep visit…

Children become Sheep Explorers and head to Base Camp for a hands-on adventure filled with sheep, wildlife, nature and discovery. 🐑🪶🐚🪲

They’ll complete explorer activities, learn about our Valais Blacknose sheep, investigate the natural world around our little clifftop farm and, of course, spend time with our VERY cuddly sheep. ❤️

And every visit earns them an Explorer Badge — with different adventures to complete throughout the holidays and a special golden badge to work towards! ⭐

Yesterday I collected an injured tawny owl from two lovely guys who work at Lingfield racecourse. Looks like it has had an argument with a car as was bleeding from its beak and has an eye that is closed and swollen. Wings and legs all ok. After a quick eye check at the vets couldn’t see and detachment so give the weekend to see if it settles and then recheck.
