Pennyhooks Farm in Oxfordshire provides farm-based training for autistic adults and young people in animal care, woodwork, horticulture, rural crafts, conservation and cooking.
The farm is holding its annual open day on Saturday, June 27, from 11.30am to 4pm, offering the chance to see the farm and the work of the Pennyhooks Farm Trust, which runs the working organic farm in conjunction with its owners, the Otter family. Admission is free of charge.
Pennyhooks Farm is off the A420 at Shrivenham, north-east of Swindon, and close to junction 15 on the M4.

The Berkshire West Autism & ADHD Support Service is running a free advice workshop in July about Preparing for Adulthood, for the parents and carers of autistic and ADHD teenagers aged 13+.
This online workshop, on Thursday, July 1, from 10am to 11.30am, will help parents/carers to navigate the transition to adulthood and to support their young people at this key stage in their lives with knowledge, skills and confidence.

Please note that the workshop is only open to parents/carers of young people aged 13 to 18 who have an autism or ADHD diagnosis, are awaiting assessment or are thought to be autistic or have ADHD and are registered with a GP surgery in the Berkshire West NHS area (the Reading, Wokingham and West Berkshire council areas).

Leaving college soon and don't know what to do or where to go?
You'll find lots of inspiration at this free event this Thursday May 14th at the Crescent Resource Centre, from 3.30pm.
BftF Plus will be there with our information stall, telling visitors all about the new young adults' enterprise centre at our Ability Hub, OPENING SOON at Thames Valley Park.
BftF Plus is our 18+ provision, helping young adults with disabilities build meaningful and fulfilling lives in the post-college years.
Come and say hi and look around all the other amazing charities and organisations offering services in the area.

Preparing for adulthood: SEND market stall event

Come along to a free, market stall event run by Wokingham Borough Council’s SEND Service.

Young people with SEND aged 12 and over, and their families, can find out about post‑16 options and talk to local services and support organisations. This is an in‑person, drop‑in event.
