What a way to round off the 2026 Snook O series, with a great event at Alkincoats Park! 🎱

We love putting these events on, and we've had record numbers for our Snook O season this year, so a huge thank you to everybody who's attended!

It was down to Planner, Ginny, last night, to take the participants around the park, trying to score as many points as they could in the time limit 📈

As you can tell, the heat and the hills made it a challenge for all! Where else would you get that enjoyment and fitness boost in just 45 minutes?!

Don't forget that our event this week has moved from a Wednesday to the Thursday, moving the Alkincoats Snook O to Thursday 18th June from Wednesday 17th June. This is to avoid both the England World Cup game and also the Pendle & Burnley grand prix!

45 minutes to get as many points as you can in the time limit following the rules of snooker! Pot/visit a red checkpoint before then potting a colour! How many points can you build in the time-limit. Can you clear the table? 🤔

Corporation Park was the venue of our second instalment of our Snook O series, and oof, it was a tough'un! 🎱

The sloping nature of the park meant that nobody quite managed to clear the table, but everyone gave it a good go!

Huge thanks to planner Sam for making us work (and think) for our points, with plenty of smiles and sweat at the finish. 👫

Don't worry - we haven't forgotten Street O!

We return with a very special edition, raising funds for Relay for Life and the Community Defibs for Rossendale charities. All profits from the event will be split 50/50 with the charities and again it will be based from the brilliant in the heart of the town! 🍕

Want to try something different and exciting? Street O's are a brilliant way to get out and explore an area. 🗺

The aim? To get as many points as you can in the time-limit using a simplified street map and an answer sheet. Checkpoints will be on things like post-boxes or telegraph poles and you have to visit them to get the answer from them! Simply fill in the answer sheet when you get to the checkpoint with the answer that is there! Can you plan the optimum route to get round the checkpoints in time because if you're late, you lose points! It's all about tactics and clever thinking 💡💭

You can walk, jog or race the courses and can bring your mates along as there are solo, pair and trio/family group entries! 🏃🚶🏻‍♀️

You will see all ages tackling the courses and full guidance will be given!

🔴🎱 SNOOK O SERIES 26 🔴🎱

📌 Corporation Park, Blackburn

Event 2 is just a matter of days away, Big Ol' John Virgo couldn't believe the action on event 1 and heavily recommends you get signed up pronto! Honestly it's loads of fun hunting down those colours 🎱

This time we visit the brilliant Corporation Park in Blackburn where you have 45 minutes to build as a big a break as you can by visiting the controls which will be either a red or a colour. 'Pot/visit' a Red control to get 1 point, then visit any of the colour controls to get those points - i.e. Pink will get you 6 points. 🎱

Each control will have an SI timing box and orange/white kite on it and you will see your score instantly when you download! 🏁

Solo / Pairs / Trios welcome, and works out cheaper the more that enter, so bring a mate along and get involved! Full guidance will be given!

Brilliant event to kick off the 2026 Snook O Series last night at Victoria Park!🔴

Normally only used as part of the larger urban map, the park was a great setting for the event, planner Karen made you work for your points if you wanted to build the maximum score!

Despite the showers, there was a great atmosphere and it was great to welcome people of all ages to the event (oh and a few 🐕). We hope everybody enjoyed the event and we'd love to see you at the next ones coming up over the next two weeks!

There's just a week to go until our first Snook O of 2026!

The format for these fun events is based on the game of Snooker - you get a map with checkpoints that are either a 'Red' or a 'Colour'.

Just like you would do in the game of snooker - 'visit' a red checkpoint to score 1 point, then visit any of the colour checkpoints to bag those - i.e. Pink will get you 6 points. 🎱

You have 45 minutes to build up as big a break as you can in the time limit. Each checkpoint will have an SI timing box and orange/white kite on it so you will see your score instantly when you download! 🏁

Solo / Pairs / Trios welcome, and for those of you a bit tight - it works out cheaper the more that enter, so bring a mate along and get involved! Full guidance will be given!
