Relay For Life Rossendale Relay For Life celebrates community fundraising in the fight to beat cancer. You can help by entering a team either in Rossendale or at your local event.

Teams of friends, families & colleagues fundraise for research to save and improve lives, & unite as a community to honour everyone affected by cancer & celebrate the progress Relay for Life Rossendale is a CRUK team event, held at Marl Pits Rawtenstall each year. Our 2019 event raised over £32k mainly through the fund raising efforts of the teams involved. After a two year COVID break we are looking to increase the number of teams and hopefully significantly increase our total in 2022. It's a great way to spend a weekend with friends or family. Our tables have been filling up fast over the last few days, and we’re absolutely delighted to say we’ve EXCEEDED our ticket sales target!

It just goes to show what a small community can achieve when people come together, get behind us and believe in what they’re supporting.

His first day on the job and he was straight in there helping us out.

Thanks to all the Tesco incredible Community Champions, we have now fully covered the cost of refreshments for the ball! 👏

It's amazing what can happen when people get behind their community and an event offering practical support to help make those all important fundraising goals a reality! 💜

Every donation, every act of kindness and every business willing to support the event will help take us one step closer to raising as much as possible for Cancer Research UK's Manchester research centre.

Because at the end of the day, fundraising is about raising funds and the more support we receive, the more money we can raise!

Every little bit of support makes a difference, especially when you're trying to create something special on a budget!

We're all out there trying to make our groups and fundraising work and sometimes it's tough, but It’s lovely when we can together to support each other. Community working together will always be better than working alone! 💜

💜 A HUGE THANK YOU TO TESCO'S TODAY💜

It's been a busy morning at Relay For Life Rossendale HQ.

Our local Tesco community champions from Accrington, Rawtenstall and Haslingden have have pulled together and made some fantastic donations.

These donations will be used for our Halloween extravaganza at Haslingden Tesco on the 17th of October and also the Masquerade Ball Mercure Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa on the 30th October.

The support we receive from these amazing community champions is heartfelt. They work super hard with many local charities and often go above and beyond.

A little kindness goes a long way…

Putting together a Masquerade Ball on a budget certainly has its challenges! Every little detail, from the decorations to the table settings, adds up, so when someone offers to help, it genuinely means the world to us. ❤️

Today we went to collect some decorations for the ball, and would like to give a huge thank you to Faith's Florist for her kind hearted donation.

It’s support like this that helps us create the magical evening we’re hoping for all whilst raising money for the Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute

On Friday 30 October, we’re transforming the Mercure Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa into an evening of glamour, entertainment and a little mystery all in aid of Cancer Research UK.

Peter Sweetmore The Pride of Rossendale will be your host for the evening.
Included in the ticket price is a welcome drinks reception, three-course dinner and drink, live music from The Maestros, Bootleg Sixties & Beatles For Sale, mind blowing magic from the incredible King Of Aces Magic, an outstanding violinist Fiddlestix, all rounded off with a disco until 1am from DJ Paulski Events.

You don't need an excuse to get dressed up for this one!

Tables are still selling, but there is just seven days before our final numbers are confirmed.
