What can a small community organisation achieve in a year? More than you might think.

We're proud to share Discovery Planet's 2025-2026 Impact Report.

The report celebrates our education and outreach work, community partnerships and the collective impact we've achieved through collaboration.

We are incredibly grateful to every partner, funder, volunteer, participant and supporter who has contributed to these achievements.

As we look ahead to 2027, we remain committed to creating opportunities that connect people, place and planet. (We are particularly excited about green projects atm!)
We are also keen to hear from Young People (aged 16-24) with an interest in STEM who want to join our team.

We'd love to hear your thoughts. What do you think we should focus on next?

And finally...

We couldn't finish our Ramsgate Day posts without giving a huge round of applause to our amazing friends and frequent collaborators, Looping The Loop

We loved their incredible Sanger's Circus animals who popped in during the day bringing a little extra circus magic to our science activities. It was wonderful to have them with us, and we can't wait to work with them again

Did you spot the animals during the Ramsgate Day celebrations? Which one was your favourite?

To finish, thank you, to Ramsgate Town Council, Visit Ramsgate, Ramsgate local independent businesses, residents, performers, musicians, artists and other local community organisations for helping make Ramsgate Day so so special. ❤️
