Do you need support with low vision?

Kent Association for the Blind’s mobile sight centre, Iris, will be at Birchington Library, 17 Alpha Road, Birchington, CT7 9EG on Friday 7th August from 10am to 3pm.

Their team will be happy to advise on any concerns you may have about your vision, offer support if you are living with sight loss and give tips on good eye health. The sight centre also carries a selection of day to day living equipment and assistive technology to support with independent living.

It was an honour for Karen, our Armed Forces connector to attend the Mayor of Margate Civic service and parade this afternoon where the Royal British Legion, Margate Branch Standard was blessed.
It was wonderful to see an event that brought people together encouraging intergenerational participation and our whole community.
