This provides vital links to Thanet Health Hub and town centres Margate and Ramsgate.

Let’s get this petition to KCC full council and put pressure on the Reform led Council to make the right decision and allocate the funding to bring this back.

🌹 Congratulations to Sagal Abdi-Wali, Labour’s new MP for Holborn and St Pancras!

Labour defeated Green Party leader Zack Polanski, with the Greens conceding defeat in the early hours of this morning.

Labour secured 45% of the vote compared with the Greens’ 33% a 12-point lead, despite the Greens fielding their party leader.

The result has also raised questions about Polanski’s future as leader of the Green Party in England and Wales.

When asked whether Polanski should stand down, former Green Party leader Caroline Lucas commented:

“I think let’s just see what happens in the coming days and weeks.”

A strong result for Labour, and congratulations to everyone who worked hard on the campaign. 🌹

♻️ REPLACEMENT RECYCLING BAGS

After chatting to my neighbours about how to get the replacement recycling bags I contacted Thanet District Council.

Thanet council told me that they will be delivering a year's supply of replacement bags to every address on the Simpler Recycling round within a few weeks.
